New Exhibit Plans

The Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society is preparing a new exhibit on everyday community life in our area between the world wars (i.e. 1918-1939). We welcome anyone with stories, documents (letters, diaries, etc.), photographs or artifacts from this period that could be used in our exhibit to contact us. Themes to be covered include the return of WWI soldiers, the Spanish Flu, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, the changing lives of women and children, and military preparations for WWII. We plan to incorporate a display of children’s games and toys from this era as well. If you have something you would like to either donate or loan to us please contact Don at 519-869-4909 or Gord at 519-869-2357.

Gord, Deb and Dave organizing the exhibit.

Don accepts donations of vintage toys from David Johnston.
